You're not helping Kuda sell one more card or Opay process one more transfer. You're ending the 15-day crisis that 280,000 Nigerians experience every single month. Impact you can measure in wellbeing, not just revenue.
Founding team.
You'd be employee 1–6. The decisions you make now set the DNA of a company that could serve 2M+ alumni by 2030. Senior equity. Real autonomy. No "promotion packet" bureaucracy.
Six founding hires.
All roles are Lagos-based with remote-friendly flexibility. Competitive salary, meaningful equity (0.25–1.5% depending on role), full private healthcare from day one.
Own the credit model end to end — underwriting logic, risk caps, default monitoring, collections policy. Previous experience at a Nigerian consumer lender, bank, or fintech required. Comfortable with Python / SQL / portfolio analytics.
Design and scale the camp ambassador program across all 37 NYSC orientation camps. Build the ops playbook for on-ground brand activation, kit partnerships, and recruitment of top-performing corpers into permanent ambassador roles post-POP.
Build the loan engine, ledger, and risk pipelines. Rust or TypeScript/NestJS. Comfortable with event-sourced architectures, double-entry ledgers, idempotency primitives. Bonus: financial systems or payments experience.
Own the React Native app end to end. Obsessive about performance on low-end Android devices (Tecno, Infinix — our users). Strong taste in interaction design. Previous consumer-facing app experience required.
Own CBN licensing pathway, AML/KYC program, NDPR compliance, SEC registration for savings products. Previous experience with Nigerian MFB or Finance Company licensing required. Bonus: law background.
Design and run the camp activation playbook. Build the content engine on TikTok, Twitter, and WhatsApp. Previous experience as a growth lead at a Nigerian consumer company (fintech, gaming, commerce) required.

Half a day with the founding team, working through real problems together. You should leave knowing whether you'd want to work here; we should know whether we'd want to hire you. Offer within 48 hours.
